Assess…Discover…Develop…Launch 

Assess

  • Interest Testing is a great way to identify your interests and how they may connect to career goals.
  • Meet with a Career Advisor to discuss your career ideas, interests, skills, values and career goals.

Discover

  • Attend the Major/Minor Fair held annually in October to learn more about the various majors and minors PC offers.
  • Consult with Faculty or a Career Advisor about your career ideas.
  • Attend the Involvement Fair held annually in October to learn about all the ways you can get involved on campus.

Develop

  • Academic success is an important element to develop yourself for your future.
  • Select a minor, electives and related projects that will enhance your resume.
  • Begin to develop career goals based on research done via informational interviews and job shadowing opportunities.
  • Add to your academic success by obtaining internships and other career experiences.

Launch

  • As you begin your senior year it is important to create an action plan for your job search or graduate school.
  • Perform career, industry and employer research online and at career fairs and networking events.
  • Consult with a Career Advisor, Faculty and online to learn about requirements and application deadlines for Fellowships & Service, Graduate and Professional Programs.
  • Participate in the on-campus recruiting program for entry-level job opportunities.
