Friars Summer Partners

The Friars Summer Intern Partners Program links talented Providence College undergraduates with the professional world through outstanding paid, summer internships.

Providence  College seeks the support of its alumni and others to build successful summer internship partnerships. Our students know the value of an internship experience, as 75% of graduating students reported participation in one or more internships while at PC.

Organizations are asked to list one or more summer opportunities with The Office of Career Services by emailing them to interns@providence.edu

All Friar Summer Intern Partner organizations will be recognized by the College.

Alumni and Student Testimonials

"Our organization has benefited from each of the six interns we have hired over the past three years. Each student has left a unique and lasting impression on our firm. There have been a few recurring qualities amongst the students. First, a strong work ethic with a willingness to help out the team in any way possible. Second, great interpersonal skills as they were able to develop working relationships and friendships quickly. Third, the intelligence to grasp both simple and complex tasks efficiently. Lastly, a positive attitude combined with a desire to learn."

“The experience and insight I have gained over this past summer with NBC Universal’s Late Night With Conan O’Brien is truly invaluable. The interaction with everyone from producers and writers down to my fellow interns has provided me with a certain exposure I’d be unlikely to receive at an “ordinary” summer job. I have been allowed a priceless opportunity to witness first-hand, an ever-growing and changing industry. I can take with me, not only an increased knowledge of the business, but a feeling of real personal accomplishment.”
