[FFE's Pathways to Success]

Spring Semester | 10 AM - 2 PM | Moore Hall

This annual event brings back ten successful PC alumni and consists of a keynote speaker, two breakout sessions and a 3 Under 30 panel. The conference is a great way to meet alumni and to gain knowledge of the working world from those who were in your shoes not too long ago.

 

[Etiquette Dinner: Your Fork is not a Shovel]

March 5, 2012 | 5:30 PM | '64 Hall

Join us for dinner, an etiquette lesson and a fashion tutorial. This includes tips for dining with employers and how to dress for success! Pre-Registration is required - stop by the SAIL OFFICE in Slavin between 2/13 and 2/24 to sign up. This event is FREE for all undergraduate students, however a refundable $10 deposit is required at registration, which will be returned to attendees.

 

[Big East Career Fair]

Spring Semester  |  10 AM - 3 PM  |  Madison Square Garden, NYC

PC partners with other big east schools to conduct this event. All majors invited to explore full time jobs and internships in a variety of industries.

Spring Semester | 3 PM - 6 PM | Peterson Center

Explore options for employment, internships and post-grad service/volunteer opportunities. Open to all students from all class years and majors.

 

 

[Education Career Conference & Networking Reception]

Spring Semester|  4 PM - 8 PM  |  Crowne Plaza - Warwick, RI

Join the Rhode Island Consortium for Educators (RICE) for their 18th annual event for Education Majors! PC and fellow consortium member colleges partner to host this event for teacher candidates. Attend workshops and a reception to connect with employers. School systems from select locations from around the county will be invited. Learn the ABC’s of a successful job search during a full evening of events; sessions offered to Assess career options, Build career-related skills, and Connect with educational administrators and organization representatives during the Networking Reception. Open to education majors from all class years.

Federal and local government agency representatives provide information on current and future full-time jobs and internships. Conducted by PC and partner schools in RI.
 
 

[Big East Virtual Career Fair]

Fall Semester  | 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM | Providence
Visit employer booths, view/apply for jobs, watch employer videos, chat with recruiters, submit your resume and possibly secure a live video interview. 
 
 

[LARC: Boston Liberal Arts Career Fair]

Fall Semester | 1 PM - 4 PM  |  Boston
Meet representatives from organizations offering full-time opportunities, and in some cases, summer internships. Seniors, juniors and sophomores welcome! Conducted by PC and partner schools.
 
 

[Winter Break Alumni Shadowing Program]

Fall Semester
Spend 1 day with an alum in a career field of interest to you during winter break. This is a great chance to see what a specific career is really like, and learn how you can begin preparing for your future.
 
 

[The Internship Showcase]

Fall Semester  | 6 PM - 7:30 PM  |  '64 Hall
Network informally with fellow students who've done internships in business, law, science, communications, government, non-profits, sports and more! It's the ideal way to kick off your own internship search. Pizza and beverages included.
