In response to the growing population of Southeast Asians in Rhode Island, Providence College established this scholarship fund in 1985. The Cunningham Scholarship is available to qualified Southeast Asian students.  It is a full tuition award which is renewable annually for four years if satisfactory academic standing is maintained.  The director serves as an advisor and meets with students regularly, monitoring their progress and arranging support services as necessary.
