The Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS) is a club that is open to all members of the Providence College student body regardless of their ethnicity or major. The club's mission is to promote the various Latino cultures found in the world today to the greater Providence College community. OLAS commits itself to expose the student body to cultural aspects that characterize Latinos and their way of life, as well as bringing knowledge and awareness of issues that Latinos all over the world are facing. This awareness and knowledge of the Latino culture is brought about through group discussions, lectures, movies, music and literature, outside resources, food, and personal experiences.
