Board of Multicultural Student Affairs

The Board of Multicultural Student Affairs is a student organization that represents all the multicultural clubs on campus in Student Congress. BMSA oversees these multicultural committees, which are geared towards exposing the student body to numerous cultures in a way that is educational, stimulating, and conductive to intellectual and cultural appretiation. In order to fulfill this goal, we strive to serve as a channel of resources, support, leadership, and vitality. (BMSA oversees the PC Chapter of the the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.) BMSA does not simply represent ethnic minorities on campus, rather, everyone at Providence College. Additionally, all Providence College students, regardless of their ethnicity, are greatly encouraged to participate with all cultural clubs on campus.

Providence College students have many opportunities to share their cultural backgrounds with others.  The Board of Multicultural Student Affairs is one of the biggest student organizations on the college campus and offers many opportunities to learn, celebrate, and explore other cultures. BMSA is the umbrella of 10 multicultural clubs and is consistently hosting various forums, celebrations, and events throughout the academic year.
