Welcome to the Balfour Center for Multicultural Affairs
One of the major resources open to students at Providence College is the Balfour Center for Multicultural Affairs (BCMA).

The BCMA, a unit in Academic Affairs, collaborates with other campus offices and student organizations to provide programs, guest speakers, and educational activities for members of the Providence College community to explore and engage in multicultural learning experiences.
In addition, we provide academic, social, cultural, and personal programs and services that support, retain, and graduate AHANA (term that refers to persons of African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American descent) and Multicultural Scholarship Program students.
Students are encouraged to become involved in activities and projects designed to add to their academic, personal, cultural and professional development. Faculty, staff, and students are strongly encouraged to get involved through participating in the various programs and activities that will be held during the academic year.
