The formal, college-wide assessment program began in 1999, with the appointment of a special assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the establishment of the Committee on Assessment Issues & Resources, and Jim & Karen Nichols’ assessment consulting visit. Since 1999, the College has staged the introduction of assessment according to the following timeline:
