Every year, senior AMS majors present a research paper or project to a group of faculty, students, and family members during the annual celebration of American Studies.  The purpose is to highlight the achievements of the graduating class.  The student presentations are followed by a dinner at which students receive the senior gift and their AMS graduation cords.
