PARENTS FOR PROVIDENCE Volunteer Form All parents of current Providence College students are members of the PARENTS FOR PROVIDENCE association which has two volunteer committees listed below. You are invited to lend your expertise and resources by participating on one of the committees or by assisting Career Services, Admissions, or the Parents' Fund as a volunteer. Please select the committee and/or volunteer group of your choice. PARENT COMMITTEES Please choose one. The majority of work is done at home. Both committees hold their annual meeting during Freshman Parents' Weekend.

	Parents' Council - The goal of the Parents' Council is to identify leadership parent teams to assist with local and regional cultivation events and represent the Parents' Council at College sponsored events. It is the role of the regional chairs and committee members to broaden participation in the Parents' Council by recruiting parents from many areas of the country. Parents who live outside of New England are involved in College sponsored events in their regions by hosting and/or attending events conducted by the alumni/development, admissions and career offices. These events may be hosted in private homes, places of business, private clubs, museums, etc.
	Parents' Fund - The PARENTS FOR PROVIDENCE program is committed to increasing gifts from parents to the Parents' Fund. The Parents' Fund committee works with fellow parent volunteers and the Alumni/Development staff in identifying potential leadership gifts. Parents' Fund committee members review prospect lists, solicit parents by telephone and direct mail.
