Providence College National Alumni Association

The Providence College National Alumni Association, through its Board of Governors(below), shall foster a spirit of association among its members and advance the mission of the College.

The National Alumni Association shall also support the ongoing efforts of various College programs that the board deems appropriate to create a stronger connection to Providence College among its members. Additionally, the board will support objectives of both the college and the Association.
The Board of Governors (B.O.G.) shall have an Executive Committee made up of the current president, vice-president, past president, secretary, treasurer and an alumni office representative, which will be responsible to formulate the agenda of the National Board.
Within the Board of Governors, there will be various committees to carry out the objectives of the National Alumni Association. The number and scope of the various committees of the B.O.G. shall be determined by the members of the board. Each committee shall have at least one member of the Alumni Office as a liaison. The chairpersons of the various B.O.G. committees will be required to report in a timely manner to the Executive Committee.
With the approval of the B.O.G., the committees may recommend at-large members to serve on said committees to assist with committee functions.
The B.O.G. shall establish guidelines for the regional clubs and assist in the implementation of those objectives.
The Regional Clubs shall be responsible to follow the guidelines of the B.O.G. and report to the National Alumni Association committees relative to their activities on an ongoing basis.
