Career Path: Lindsay Waters began his career as an instructor for Chicago State University's Department of English after receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1976. After a year, Waters became an assistant professor for the Humanities Program at the University of Minnesota. Waters moved on to serve as the assistant editor to the senior editor, then the editor-in-chief, of University of Minnesota Press. When he worked at the University of Minnesota Press, he was also a Lecturer for the Department of English in the University's Graduate School. He later moved east to work for Harvard University Press, as general editor, executive editor and member of the Management Group, and in his current position as executive editor for the humanities.
Family: Wife Ann; sons Keith and Eric; daughter Chloe
Staying Involved: Waters works with PC Liberal Arts Honors program faculty in support of the program's activities.
