John J. Partridge, Esq.

Career Path:  Partridge graduated from Harvard Law School in 1964, and following graduation, served as a Captain in the U.S. Army's Military Intelligence branch for three years, where he received the Joint Service Commendation Medal for Services Rendered in Vietnam.  Partridge spent the next 20 years as an attorney at Tillinghast Collins & Graham.  In 1988, he became a founding partner of Partridge Snow & Hahn, a law firm with offices in Providence, Boston, and New Bedford. He currently serves as a senior partner.

A member of numerous professional and civic organizations, Partridge is a member and legal counsel to the Board of Directors of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce; Trustee and Treasurer for Ocean State Charities Trust; co-Chairman of The Pawtucket Foundation; a member of the Rhode Island Economic Policy Council; a Trustee of the Narragansett Insured Tax-Free Income Fund; and served as the Chairman of  the Board for the Southeastern Healthcare System, Inc, among others.

In 1996, Partridge was awarded the Providence College Alumni Recognition Award, the same year that he received the Rhode Island Minority Business Corporation Award.

Family: Wife Regina; Children Sarah, Gregory, and David

Staying Involved:  Partridge serves as Chairman of the Thomson Liberal Arts Honors Fund, and as a member of the College's Strategic Planning Commitee and President's Council.  Partridge follows the Friars on the basketball court as a season ticket holder.
