Career Path Highlights: Mahoney earned his master's degree from St. Stephen's College in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from Catholic University in 1973. He served as managing partner of Mahoney Gitner and Zentz and as president of Attorneys Title Corporation before becoming president of Regional Title Incorporated.

Mahoney served as president of the Capitol Hill Association of Merchants and Professionals and as a board member of the Champs Community Foundation. He is a trustee on the Federal City Council and a former commissioner/interim chairman of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission. He is a director of Washington First Bank.

Staying Involved: Mahoney was appointed to the College's Board of Trustees in 2002. He serves on the board's Academic Affairs Committee and Varsity Athletics Committee.
