Career Path Highlights: After graduating from PC, Maguire served on the New York Stock Exchange first as a trading assistant and then as an equities specialist and managing director for Henderson Brothers, Inc. He later became an equities specialist and managing director of LaBranche and Co., LLC., also on the NYSE. Maguire is currently an equities trader with C.J. Forbes & Co., LLC.
Family: Wife, Coleen Ellis Maguire; two children, Andy and Finn.
Staying Involved: In the 1990s, Maguire volunteered to represent PC at college fairs held at high schools in the New York metropolitan area. He has served as a phonathon volunteer for his class and as a regional volunteer for metro New York and northern New Jersey phonathons. He served as general chairman of the 2003 Providence College Annual Fund Drive and is the youngest person in College history to serve as Annual Fund chair. Appointed to the College's Board of Trustees in 2003 (the youngest appointee in the board's history), Maguire is a member of the board's Audit Committee and Finance Committee.
