Career Path: Following graduation, Robitaille spent three years in Germany with the US Army. He returned to the United States and spent two years working with the US Army Special Forces Command before beginning his business career, and received a master's degree in human resource management from the University of Utah in 1975.
He founded Perspective Communications in Rhode Island in 1987 after years of working in the communications industry. The company, which is now run by his wife, Lynda, specializes in video production services, multimedia, meetings and events. They work with clients such as Textron, Kellogg's, GTECH, Fleet Bank, Staples, and Hard Rock Hotels.
Robitaille is now the senior advisor for communications to Rhode Island Gov. Donald L. Carcieri. He has also worked as a motivational speaker and received the 2003 Partner in Philanthropy Award.
Staying Involved: A member of the College's President's Council, Robitaille spoke at the May 2008 Tau Pi Phi National Business Administration Honor Society Induction at PC.
