Thomas C. Boyan, Jr.

PC Degree: B.S./Finance

Career Path Highlights: Thomas C. Boyan Jr. '85 is a successful commodities trader veteran. Self-employed, he traded the world's busiest commodities for 20 years on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and the New York Commodities Exchange (COMEX), the world's largest venues for trading utilities (oil, gasoline, heating oil, and natural gas) and metals, respectively. Boyan owns and operates the legendary New York City restaurant and bar, P.J. Clarke's, which he has expanded to two additional locations in Manhattan.

Boyan served on several NYMEX and COMEX committees, including the Finance Committee, the Adjudication Committee, and the September 11th Disbursement of Donations Committee. Boyan also has served as a volunteer youth basketball, soccer, and baseball coach.

Family: Wife, Dr. Leann Boyan; four children, Madison, Jack, Abby, and Thomas

Staying Involved: Boyan was appointed to the College's Board of Trustees in 2008. He is a member of its Building & Property Committee and its Finance Committee. He is a longtime supporter of the Friars' men's basketball program and PC Athletics overall.
