"To say I was transformed by my PC experience would be a bit of an understatement. I am the oldest of four children of first-generation immigrants. I was the first in my entire family to attend college... because of the scholarship help that I received from PC. My personal objective in supporting PC has been to help students who may otherwise be unable to attend a college like PC, in repayment of the good fortune that I had in being a scholarship recipient myself."
-Vincent T. Plona, Jr. '64 & '07P

Vincent and his wife, Karen, established the Margaret Bent-Plona Scholarship Fund, which has awarded scholarships to needy students from the Hartford, CT. area for the last 12 years. Both of Plona's younger brothers, Henry '66 and Thomas '70, followed him to PC as did his son Hank (Vincent Henry) '07.
