Leadership Giving

Leadership Giving at PCProvidence College alumni, parents, and friends have the opportunity to play a leadership role in the advancement of the College’s educational and spiritual mission through membership in the President’s Circle.  The President’s Circle offers its members an inside perspective of Providence College through a variety of communications and special events made available only to the College’s leading supporters.  By becoming a member of the President’s Circle, you will share in the gratifying experience of helping to secure a bright future for the College.

Gifts at the President’s Circle begin at $1,000 and all commitments must be fulfilled within a single fiscal year (the College’s fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th).  Corporate matching gifts may be included within a President’s Circle level commitment as well, provided that the matching gift is received by fiscal year-end.  A number of benefits that are enjoyed through membership in the President’s Circle include invitations to exclusive social events with members of the College’s administration and faculty and recognition in the College’s honor roll of donors.

Commitments at the President’s Circle level help to provide the College’s Annual Fund with the resources necessary to enhance every aspect of campus life.  Your participation helps to fund new books and computer equipment for the library, to renovate dining facilities, to furnish the new campus chapel, and to provide additional merit and need-based scholarships.

Increasing funds available for student financial aid is a crucial need and a priority at the College.  Providence has developed into a nationally prominent and respected institution because it is committed to its mission of providing educational opportunities for deserving, talented, and motivated students – regardless of household income.  Currently, the College commits over $22 million of its own funds to financial aid, including $6.5 million for merit awards.  Striving to minimize tuition increases while committing additional resources to benefit students is a difficult challenge.

Donors making the philanthropic commitment at the President’s Circle level will help Providence College to better meet this challenge and to maintain its position at the forefront of Catholic higher education.  Your participation makes an impact and positively influences those young men and women who will someday follow the example you have set and will return the investment to Providence College and its future students.
