This weekend is exclusively planned for our most generous and dedicated benefactors. Participation in St. Dominic Weekend is by invitation only and is compliments of Providence College.

If you received an invitation by mail, you may proceed to online registration.

  • Hear directly from students about the extraordinary impact you make on their daily lives.

  • Reconnect with fellow alumni, parents and friends while rediscovering the PC Campus.

  • Participate in enriching seminars on spirituality and leadership from our most distinguished faculty and alumni.

  • Explore the future of Providence College in a President’s forum.

This two-day event will feature the inaugural induction ceremony of the 1917 Society honoring lifetime giving, recognition of Harkins Society members, and a reception honoring our scholarship donors. Special opportunities also include a private reception showcasing Providence’s internationally acclaimed WaterFire.

George Zalucki is the former center of the ’61 NIT Friars championship team. He is a highly successful business leader, author, and motivational speaker who has given corporate presentations in the United States and Europe.

Learn about self image and how each person can use theiremotions to effectuate change, find renewed purpose and enthusiasm in their personal and professional lives, empower themselves to achieve their goals and aspirations, and enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Tables will be hosted by student leaders at this informal lunch.

Scholarship Donor Lunch
11:30-1:00 p.m.

This luncheon will formally recognize PC’s scholarship and Angel Fund leadership supporters, who have made financial aid a philanthropic priority.

StudentPresident’s Forum
1:30-2:30 p.m.

College President Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. ’80 will be joined by his Cabinet to speak candidly and share observations, hopes, and concerns about the current and future state of the College.

Mass
4:30 p.m.

Mass will be concelebrated by the Dominican Friars at St. Dominic Chapel. Mass will include special recognition and a pin blessing ceremony for members of the Harkins Society.

Keeping the Promise
6:00 p.m.
Peterson Recreation Center, Alumni Hall

The signature event of this weekend is the St. Dominic Gala. This elegant evening will celebrate the transformational impact the College’s leadership supporters have on the lives of current students.  The gala will also feature the 1917 Society induction ceremony, which recognizes alumni and friends whose lifetime record of generosity is truly exemplary. Black tie optional.
