Thanks to all alumni who participated in Homecoming Weekend 2009! It was a great weekend filled with connecting with old friends, visiting the transformed campus, and creating long lasting memories. The Office of Alumni Relations hit an all new record with over 1,000 alumni returning for Homecoming activities during February 20-22, 2009. There was something for everyone and we enjoyed all alumni and students that participated in Return to Friartown by returning home to Providence College for this action packed weekend.

• Sharing an Italian meal with friends and classmates while listening to Dr. Ed Iannuccilli '61 speak about Growing Up Italian.
• Celebrating 11 athletes inducted into the Hall of Fame.
• Class of '08 Celebrating 208 Nights After Graduation in McPhails
• Listening to the wisdom of Dr. Mario DiNunzio
• Honoring Basketball Great John Egan at the special brunch on Saturday morning.
• Interacting with current students at the Friar Fest- Congrats to student org BMSA for the winning bus!
• Cheering on the PC Friars at the basketball and hockey games!
• Ice skating with the Skating Friar and enjoying hot chocolate and apple crisp!
• St. Dominic Society Members enjoying the company of friends at Flemings
• Student and alumni together laughing along with Comedian Joel McHale and Alum Donnie Bessom '07
• Celebrating spirit with both alumni and students at the Homecoming Mass
• Saying farewell to friends and classmates at Brunch with the President
• Getting together with old friends and reminiscing at the Football Reunion
