The New London/Washington County Alumni Club is pleased to continue this popular annual event on Sunday, July 27th. The Long Island Winery Tour is a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxing, indulgent trip complete with boat ride, vineyard tour, wine tasting, shopping and more! Thanks to the generosity of Stan Mickus `90, who donates the cost of the ferry service, we are able to offer the package for $70.00 per person. But beware, this event sells out quickly! Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis. All alumni, friends, and family are welcome!
- Depart New London on Cross Sound Ferry Services high-speed Sea Jet at 11:00a.m. sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.
- Arrive at Orient Point, Long Island at 11:40a.m. and board a luxury motor coach.
-Tour Pindar Vineyard (weather permitting) including wine tasting.
- Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch under Pindar Vineyard Pavilion to include gourmet wrap or sandwich, bottle of water, dessert, and a glass of wine.
- As time permits, a stop at a farm stand where you can purchase fresh produce and other delicious treats.
- A visit to Raphael, for another wine sampling.
- A final winery tour to take place at Duck Walk North
- A stop in picturesque Greenport if time permits, for shopping, galleries, etc.
- Depart Orient Point on Sea Jet at 6:00p.m. and return to New London at 6:40p.m.

Coach Tim Army '85 and the Providence College Men's Ice Hockey program are holding their annual golf tournament on August 18, 2008. We encourage all former Friars and Friar Hockey fans to join us for a day of golf, memories and camaraderie.
Price includes range balls, BBQ lunch, greens fee, golf cart, gift package, and buffet dinner. $25 from each registration fee is a tax-deductible contribution to the Men's Ice Hockey program.
