Providence College launched a new, "one-stop" online news page on October 1.

PC Now is located at www.providence.edu/pcnow and also can be accessed through the College's homepage. It will be updated weekly on each Monday and more frequently as breaking news happens. The Web news page is intended for busy readers who want to quickly review engaging and informative news about the College.

PC Now will present timely news relating to developments, events, and people at the College; alumni and student news features; profiles on students, faculty, and alumni; selected athletics and campus event listings; and links to other online sources with PC-related information.

"We are gathering all of the news and information about the College that previously appeared in various print and online publications targeted to different audiences and are now presenting it in a more timely, convenient, and accessible way," explained Patricia S. Vieira, associate vice president for college relations and planning.

She continued, "Our hope is that our online readers will make it a habit to check in with PC Now each week, if not more frequently, and strengthen their connection to Providence College through the news and features we post there."

The new Web news page is managed and produced by the Division of College Relations and Planning. Comments and news tips from readers are welcome and can be submitted through an e-mail link located on the lower right hand side of the PC Now page.
