Non-Degree Students

Non-Degree students (Special Student status) are part-time students in the undergraduate day school who are not pursuing a baccalaureate degree at the college, but who wish to register for courses and receive appropriate academic credit upon satisfactory completion of coursework. Applications for admission as a non-degree student are available from the Office of Admission and should be received by August 15 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. Admission as a special student is normally for one semester only and subject to reapplying for future terms.  Special Students enrolled at the college can enroll in a maximum of 12 credits at this non-matriculated status and still have the coursework applied toward eventual degree requirements at the college. Once approved by the Office of Admission, in-person registration takes place at the beginning of the semester. The availability of particular courses cannot be guaranteed and as non-degree students, financial aid is not available.
