On the right hand side of this page you will find links to our most asked about policies and procedures. We encourage you to review each of these links thoroughly so you are fully prepared for the financial aid process at Providence College .
Keep in mind that not all colleges and universities present policy and procedure information in the same manner. Therefore, please do not assume that the information contained within these pages can be applied towards another institution.
Particularly if you are prospective student, please contact each institution directly to ensure that your questions are answered and you understand the process specific to each school you have applied. The more you know up front the better equipped you are to make a decision.
For example, as a prospective student if you want to appeal your first aid offer from a school due to a change in circumstance (i.e. loss of job) some schools will review your appeal up front and revise your aid offer before the school’s deposit deadline. Other schools may not review your appeal up front and only consider revising a first aid offer due to a change in circumstance after you have deposited at the school and the schools deposit deadline has passed.
We know that this process can be confusing at times. As always, we are here to help you navigate through this process. Please feel free to contact us at anytime if you need clarification or have additional questions or concerns about the information presented here.
