Mission Statement

Providence College is a Catholic liberal arts institution of higher learning in the Dominican tradition. The graduate program of the College provides opportunities for qualified persons to pursue advanced studies in business, education, history, mathematics, and religious studies.

The Graduate Studies Program challenges the student to think logically and creatively while pursuing the highest quality of scholarship.  This is achieved in an atmosphere which seeks to develop ethical and aesthetic values proceeding from within the principles of the Judaeo-Christian heritage. 

The graduate program welcomes men and women of all religious and ethnic backgrounds. Through rigorous study, it strives to produce responsible professionals and community leaders.
