The program in theology pursues two distinct objectives. 1) It provides all students fulfilling the two-course Core Curriculum requirement with a large selection of courses dealing with a variety of pertinent areas and aspects of religion: Biblical literature, Roman Catholic Theology, Protestant Christianity, and Jewish religious thought. 2) It provides majors in theology with a program that is flexible and professional, designed to meet the particular and personal objectives of each student.
The Department of Theology also offers a graduate program which leads to a master of arts in theology, biblical studies, or pastoral ministry.
The Major
A major in theology is offered which leads to the bachelor of arts degree.
The Minor
