Full-time graduate students normally enroll in three courses in the Fall and Spring semesters, although it is possible to take as many as four courses if the student is in good academic standing. Part-time students typically take two courses per semester, although one is permissible.
Students may also take courses during intercession in January or during Summer Session I and II.
Students normally take only one course per Summer session. Please note that although the summer sessions are condensed into fewer weeks, they require the same level of work inside and outside the classroom as typical semester-long courses. For that reason, students are cautioned not to take two courses in a single summer session.
