Phillips Memorial Library’s resource lab for patron and library digitization projects, as well as the Digital Commons. The Digital Services Lab features Macintosh computers, several different types of scanners, and other technology resources, as well as staff available for training and technical support. Digital Services Lab is also available to support the Creation Station/Macintosh Lab, as well as Self-Serve Scanning Stations throughout the library.

Macintosh Computers
- 24-inch iMac and 20-inch iMac running Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard)
Scanners
- Epson flatbed scanner for scanning letter sized originals as well as slides or 35 mm film negatives
- Microtek flatbed scanner with 12" x 17" scanning area for large format scanning, as well as slide scanning, and various non-standard negative sizes
Software
- Adobe Creative Suite 3 (including Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, and Acrobat Professional) featured in both the Creation Station/ Macintosh Lab and the Digital Services Lab
- ABBYY Fine Reader OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software
- Microsoft Office 2008 (recently updated)
