Click on the HELIN Library Catalog link from the library home page http://www.providence.edu/library or go to: http://helin.uri.edu/

There are two recommended ways to search for a video, either by TITLE or DIRECTOR/ACTOR.

1. To search by TITLE:
   1. Click on the TITLE button on the HELIN Library Catalog home page.
   2. Type the  TITLE of the video in the search box (ex: The Godfather or Age of Innocence).
   3. Use the dropdown menu to limit your search to videos by selecting “Films/Videos/DVDs”.
   4. Click the Submit button to begin your search.
   5. The location of videos is in bold and listed immediately below the video title. If you see “PC” in the list, it is available from Providence College .                        

2. To search by DIRECTOR/ACTOR:

   1. Click on the AUTHOR button on the HELIN Library Catalog home page.
   2. Type the name of the DIRECTOR or ACTOR of the video in the search box (use lastname, firstname format, i.e.   Lee, Spike   or Hopper )
   3. Use the dropdown menu to limit your search to videos by selecting “Films/Videos/DVDs”.
   4. Click the Submit button to begin your search.
   5. The location of videos is in bold and listed immediately below the video title. If you see “PC” in the list, it is available from Providence College.

REMEMBER: USE THE HELIN LIBRARY CATALOG TO CHECK VIDEO AVAILABILITY ONLY. ALL VIDEOS ARE HOUSED IN ACADEMIC MEDIA SERVICES IN FEINSTEIN 300.
