Content and Scope: In September 1996, Edward P. Doyle, O.P., a World War II Army Chaplain in the 104th Infantry Division (the "Timberwolves"), donated his personal collection to Providence College. Subject files and photographs deal with Father Doyle's years in the military service, his personal witness of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp at Nordhausen in April 1945, and his participation in several Holocaust memorial programs. There are 100 pieces in this collection.
