The library subscribes to over 100 bibliographic and full-text electronic databases . The databases are accessible via the computers located in the library's reference area and on the second floor.   The databases include indexes to periodical literature, as well as corporate information, statistics, and full-text sources.

Most of the library's subscriptions can be accessed remotely from other locations on- and off-campus.  Providence College users will need to use an up-to-date PC Identification Card.  Faculty, staff and students will be asked to input the barcode on the reverse of their I. D. card.
