In response to numerous requests from its member institutions, New England College of Finance has established a timely new partnership with Providence College for the Graduate Certificate in Financial Markets and Services that flows seamlessly into the Providence College M.B.A. Program.
The graduate certificate in Financial Markets and Services focuses exclusively on finance and financial markets.
This certificate program provides an alternative for those who do not wish to pursue master's degree requirements, but instead desire basic graduate study in a finance field.
The 5-course certificate requires students to complete the courses, Business Finance (MBA 525), and to select four elective courses out of a list of suggested electives, some of which include: Managerial Accounting, Economic and Financial Forecasting, Financial Accounting Theory, Money and Capital Markets, Management of Financial Institutions-Derivatives, Human Resource Management, International Finance, Business Ethics, and Portfolio Management.
Students who later decide to pursue a full M.B.A. may, upon acceptance of their application, apply satisfactorily completed certificate classes in the finance concentration toward their M.B.A. degree.
