Laptop Loan Program

The Office of Academic Affairs provides support to faculty members through its Laptop Loan Program.  The office maintains a limited inventory of up-to-date laptops, many with wireless capability and other accessories.  Faculty may reserve a laptop for College-related professional activities, such as presentations, travel to academic conferences or to support their teaching and research.  Typically, there is a one week maximum for loans.  To inquire about availability or to place a reservation, please contact Alyssa Neubecker (401.865.1765 or aneubeck@providence.edu).  Reservations should be made at least one week prior to anticipated need and are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In addition, faculty members may also reserve a laptop through Academic Media Services.  Loans through AMS support laptop use in the classroom, as well as College-related presentations.  To reserve a laptop through AMS, please contact Michael Williams (401.865.2311 or mwilliam@providence.edu) at least 48 hours prior to the pickup date.
