St. Dominic Chapel

Realizing a decades-old dream for a large, self-standing chapel, Providence College in February 2001 proudly dedicated St. Dominic Chapel -- the campus’s new 20,000-square-foot sacred space in which the community comes together in worship and prayer. With seating for up to 600 worshipers, the chapel is situated on the southern corner of campus, in close proximity to many of the residence facilities.

Featuring 45 original stained-glass windows by internationally renowned stained-glass artist and sculptor Sylvia Nicolas, St. Dominic Chapel also boasts a custom-made, concert-quality pipe organ which provides accompaniment to a 40-person choir.

The lower level houses the Office of the Chaplain/Campus Ministry and the Campus Ministry Center , creating a vital spiritual center for student ministry and community service.
