In the last decade, the College has focused campus infrastructure improvements on enhancing its academic, residential, and spiritual facilities through the addition of buildings such as the Concannon Fitness Center, Smith Center for the Arts, Suites Hall, and St. Dominic Chapel.
Providence College's 10-year campus Master Space Plan has done far more than change the way we look. It has been transforming and enriching the living-learning experience of our students.
Recent Project
Slavin Center Expansion/Renovation
This construction project was designed to re-establish our student union, built in 1971, as an attractive student gathering place and preferred destination. By renovating the Slavin Center and enriching our activities programming, we provide a safe, attractive alternative to off-campus activities and to further strengthen the sense of campus community. The project was completed in September 2009.
