PC Athletics Sponsoring Summer Camps

Providence, R.I.--The Providence College Department of Athletics will once again sponsor a series of camps throughout the summer. The offerings range from individual instruction to team conditioning, all under the direction of PC coaches and players.

The list of camps follows:

  • Circle to Circle Field Hockey Camps will be held from July 19-21 (team camp) and July 26-29 (open camp). The cost for the team camp is $380 for overnight residents and $275 for commuters.   • The Providence College Boys Basketball Camp Presented by Men's Head Coach Keno Davis will be held from July 11-14 (individual overnight and commuter camp), July 15-18 (individual day camp), and July 30-August 2 (team camp). The cost is $299 for the team camp, $319 for the individual overnight camp, $279 for the individual commuter camp, and $179 for the individual day camp.   • The Providence College Girls Basketball Camp Presented by Women's Head Coach Phil Seymore will be held from July 6-9 (overnight camp), July 20-24 (day camp), and July 25-26 (shooting school). A bronze, silver, or gold pricing package is available for all programs. Registration begins at $340 for the overnight resident camp, $295 for the overnight commuter camp, $260 for the day camp, and $125 for the shooting school.   • The Providence College Men's Ice Hockey Camps will be held from July 12-17 and July 19-24 (overnight camps) and July 27-31 (day camp).   • The Providence College Women's Ice Hockey Camps will be held from July 6-11 (overnight camp) and August 10-14 (day camp). The cost is $695 for overnight residents, $595 for commuters, and $475 for the day camp. For more information, visit www.deraneyhockeyschools.com.
  • The Providence College Friar Lacrosse Camps will be held from July 6-9 (positional skill instruction) and July 13-16 (elite). The cost for the positional camp is $575 for overnight residents, $425 for commuters, and $325 for day campers. The cost for the elite camp is $575 for overnight residents and $425 for commuters.   • The Providence Girls Soccer Academy will be held July 22-25 (youth week) and July 29-August 1 (high school week). The cost is $350 for youth week and $450 for high school week. For more information, contact Assistant Coach Jen Sullivan at (401) 865-1973 or jsulli39@providence.edu.
  • The Friar Softball Camps will be held July 14-15 and July 28-29 (general skills) and July 21 (advanced defense) and July 22 (advanced hitting). The cost is $175 for both general skills sessions, $175 for both advanced sessions, and $100 for one advanced session.   • The Friar Fitness and Athletic Development Camps will be held from July 6-9, July 13-16, July 20-23, and July 27-30. The cost is $125 for one week, $235 for two weeks, $350 for three weeks, and $465 for four weeks.
