PC Recycling Drives Net Tons of Clothing, Food

Providence, RI -- More than 3,000 pounds of clothing and 2,800 pounds of food were donated by Providence College students as they left their residential facilities at the close of the 2006-07 academic year. The clothes were given to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and the food went to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The campuswide drives were organized by the Office of Residence Life, the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, and the Physical Plant.
