Providence, RI--Providence College President Rev. Brian Shanley, O.P. and athletics director Bob Driscoll announced the appointment of Keno Davis as the College's head men's basketball coach. Davis, who becomes the 14th head coach at Providence College, comes to PC after spending the 2007-08 season as the head coach at Drake University. A 1995 graduate of the University of Iowa, Davis was named the 2008 National Coach of the Year by the Associated Press, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the Sporting News.
