Regional receptions planned to acknowledge support of President’s Circle members

Two receptions acknowledging alumni, parents, and friends who have given to Providence College as members of the President’s Circle have been scheduled in May.

On Friday, May 9, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., the College will host a reception for Boston-area President’s Circle members at the Boston Harbor Hotel, 70 Rowes Wharf in Boston. A second event for New York-area members has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the University Club of New York, 1 West 54th Street in New York City.

Additional President’s Circle receptions are being planned for the fall.

President’s Circle benefits
The President’s Circle is one of the College’s leadership giving societies, in which members invest in the College by making a financial commitment at a leadership level. Members get an inside perspective of PC through a variety of communications and invitations to exclusive social events with representatives of the administration and faculty. They also are recognized in the College’s honor roll of donors.

President’s Circle gifts begin at $1,000 and all commitments must be fulfilled within the College’s fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30. Corporate matching gifts may be included within a President’s Circle-level commitment as well, provided that the matching gift is received by fiscal year-end.

President’s Circle commitments provide the Providence College Fund with central resources to enhance every aspect of campus life. With these contributions, the College can enhance academic programs, provide faculty support, purchase new books and computer equipment, undertake campus renovations, and offer additional merit and need-based scholarships.

For more information on leadership giving opportunities or to become a member of the Providence College President’s Circle, contact Amy Bostock Laprey, director of annual giving in the Office of Institutional Advancement, at 401-865-2414 or at abostock@providence.edu.
